Jon Kidd, CEO
Besides starting and leading Banyan Life Financial, Jon has also co-founded several other financial services companies dedicated to the needs of the elder estate planning market. Jon has spent the last several years specializing as a distributor of premium financed loans for estate planning. For his achievements in this area, Banyan Life Financial was recently recognized in the November 2007 issue of Forbes Magazine as one of the Ten Most Dependable Wealth Managers^TM in Florida.

Jon is a graduate of the University of Maryland, Frostburg, where he earned his B.S. in Business Administration. He also serves on the Foundation Board of Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, where he is involved in the organization’s Planned Giving Committee and the Premium Financing sub-committee. Jon’s other public service affiliations include the Children First Committee of the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine, PrimeTime Seniors and memberships in the International Forum, Life Insurance Finance Association, and the Planned Giving Council of Miami.

Jon and his wife, Meegan, live in Miami Beach, Florida with their three children, Olivia, Ava, and Jon Michael.

E. Jim Lowitz, Director of Strategic Partnerships & Charitable Planning
Jim helps local and national charities with fundraising, utilizing life insurance as a tool to augment estate and charitable planning. His expertise is imperative in a climate where non-profits are suffering from a depressed economy, with illiquidity and donor-fatigue at an all-time high.

Jim has held numerous high-level positions throughout an illustrious career, emphasized by the three successful businesses he has built over the last twenty years, which were subsequently sold profitably. Jim has consistently demonstrated his expertise in the areas of executive consulting, business coaching, business planning, corporate branding, public speaking, e-business, fundraising, financial modeling and the application of corporate law spanning throughout the negotiation of legal contracts, business sales, trademarks and copywriting.

Jim is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, where he earned his B.S. in Business Administration. He has been a licensed insurance broker for 28 years and a broker of record for several hospitals in Maryland, where he grew up. Jim now resides in Sarasota, FL and serves clients nationwide.
